I’ve been through a similar experience with a knee injury from basketball. One piece of advice I can give is to not underestimate the importance of proper stretching. Daily stretches for the hamstrings, calves, and IT band can reduce stiffness and improve flexibility. Additionally, using a foam roller can help with muscle tightness around the knee. Lastly, make sure you’re giving your knee enough rest between exercises to avoid overloading it.
