One thing that really helped me was focusing on strengthening the muscles around the knee, especially the quads and hamstrings. Exercises like leg lifts, wall sits, and gentle squats can make a big difference. Swimming was also a great low-impact exercise that helped improve my mobility without putting too much strain on my knee. But I am guessing you did something like that with your therapist.
