To be honest I always found meal prep hard and too much of a hassle. For those such as myself, who find it overwhelming or time-consuming, focus on having quick meal ideas on hand. Keep things like pre-cut veggies, canned beans, and cooked grains in your pantry so you can throw together a healthy meal in minutes when you’re short on time. I know this isn’t quite meal prep but it makes meal prep really quick and easy!

I agree, meal prep isn’t always feasible for everyone. Another quick meal idea is making wraps or sandwiches with whole grain bread or tortillas, lean protein like turkey or tofu, and lots of veggies. It’s simple, flexible, and perfect for when you need a nutritious meal. But I think this thread is meant for meal prep only, so let us keep it that way…

I like to be efficient when I am making meals, especially in the morning. I like to make a big batch (A few premade portions) of overnight oats with rolled oats, almond milk, chia seeds, and fruit. It’s all ready for me in the morning, and it keeps me full and energized until lunchtime!
Here is more detailed instruction:
1. Mix 50g oats with 120g milk in a bowl/jar.
2. Stir in 100g Greek yogurt.
3. Add 10g chia seeds.
4. Sweeten with 10g honey (optional).
5. Mix in 50g fruit.
6. Top with 5g nuts/seeds.
7. Cover and refrigerate overnight (or at least 4 hours).
8. Stir and enjoy cold or warm in the morning!

8. 7. 2024 at 20:3843I like to use oat milk more, it is maybe less creamy, but for me it complements the rest of the overnight oats better. But of course use any milk, just a suggestion from me.

You can do the same with seasoned chicken breasts in another pan to make it quicker. Or you can try it all cooked in one pan, it should have more flavor this way. To make it even quicker, I use cut pieces of frozen vegetables so you don’t need to prep them at toss them right in the pan. -

Just chop up some veggies and your choice of protein, stir-fry it all together with some soy sauce and garlic, then divide it up for easy lunches or dinners. Quick, healthy, and delicious!

Cook a batch of quinoa, then layer it in jars with veggies like cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers, and some protein like grilled chicken or chickpeas. Add a homemade vinaigrette and you’re good to go for a few days!
